IHOP-LI: The Ark House of Prayer & The Burn: Long Island
A “Wheel within a Wheel” expression of
Worship and Intercession on Long Island.
Our purpose is to build a House of His Presence and
To Love on Long Island with worship-filled prayer 24-7-365
The goal: from Montauk to Manhattan: Every House a House of Prayer
IHOP-LI and The Burn: Long Island are two expressions of love that fuel our joy – to cover Long Island/NYC in worship-filled prayer. Worship-filled Prayer meets Prayer-filled Worship.
IHOP-LI is bent on nurturing and cultivating a community of lovesick worshippers who willingly pour out their lives as a love offering to Jesus and humanity through worship, intercession and deeds of justice/mercy in the power of His Love.
As intercessory missionaries, we carry our families, local churches and communities before the Throne of Grace with the goal of increasing our sphere of influence in prayer and love until the region has been saturated with His Presence through night and day worship and intercession.
Luke 18: Now He was telling them a parable to show that at all times they ought to pray and not to lose heart . . . And the Lord said, …” will not God bring about justice for His elect who cry to Him day and night, and will He delay long over them? “I tell you that He will bring about justice for them quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on the earth?”

The Burn: Long Island is our intentional gathering as One Body to offer our fast of time and a feast of affection as we focus our hearts fully on the Lord and declare His Merciful Justice and Beauty to Him and over Long Island/NYC. We bring the gifts of our heart and our creativity to Romance the King and attest to our love for Him and each other. It is ALWAYS the 4th Friday of the month. We begin at 10 a.m. and end whenever but never before 10 p.m.
It is meant to create a place of refreshing where the entire Body of Christ, with all of its beautiful diversity of expressions, can come together to minister to the Lord with one heart; where worshipers, artists, intercessors, and minstrels can minister to the Lord with confidence in the love of God and as the priesthood of all believers. Together we establish a place and space where God can be glorified in the city and that a community of hungry lovers of God can build their lives around His Presence.
What follows is a description from Sean Feucht about the Burn that conveys the heart of what we’re after . . . “a progression and a procession into the deepest chambers of the King – the place where intimacy is cultivated and released. . . . ”
It is purposefully minimally formatted to create breathing room for us to grow in sensitivity to the movements of God’s heart and just love on Him; a place of rest.
“We progress from striving and playing our instrument to the instrument that is being played.” That is when our heart beats in sync with the heart of the Father. ”
