About Burn Western Oklahoma (WOK)
Burn Western Oklahoma (WOK) is based out of the city of Weatherford and is dedicated to igniting hearts of worship in all 13 counties of western Oklahoma and the world. Burn WOK is held at a different church once a month for a minimum of 12 hours of non-stop worship and prayer. Even now, a cry is rising across the globe– an awakening has begun that will not be stopped! We believe that God is raising up revolutionaries in western Oklahoma who are radical followers of Christ and love-sick worshipers, consumed with searching out the deeper things of God. Come BURN with us!!! Burn WOK is more than an event, more than concert, more than a rally… its an ENCOUNTER with the one, true living God.
What to Expect at a Burn
- Burn WOK is held at a different church once a month for a minimum of 12 hours of non-stop worship and prayer. It is generally held on a Friday night through Saturday morning. Keep a look out for the new location and time each month!
- ALL age groups are welcome (including little children)
- This is not your “typical” worship setting. Musicians are simply asked to worship straight to the heart of God as if no one else is there, rather than lead an “audience” in worship. The heart behind Burn is to get our eyes off of ourselves and get to know God even more intimately–This is all for Jesus.
- You can worship freely, whether that be through sitting, standing, dancing, painting, singing, reading, laying down, praying, playing an instrument, writing…etc.
- You are welcome to come and go throughout the night or bring a sleeping bag and stay the whole time!
- At each Burn WOK, multiple art stations are provided such as acrylic paint, color pencil, and pastels. You are welcome to bring your own art supplies also!
