The Vision?
THE VISION IS JESUS. OBSESSIVELY, DANGEROUSLY, UNDENIABLY JESUS.
Some see dry bones. He sees an army. We must see everything through a Godly perspective. We must realize that we are the Temple, and that God makes his home in us. Tulsa is not dry. The people are not necessarily dry. They have been trained and they have been equipped with all the tools to carry on effectively in ministry (2 Peter 1:3-4). Our prayer is that the church in Tulsa will begin to overflow with their gifts and that God will pour out his Spirit.
TULSA IS BURNING.
Every place has a claim to fame. The Center of the Universe is here, and has been dubbed “The Oil Capitol of the World”. Tulsa named by Native Americans as the “the gathering place(of shame)”, and since been dubbed the “Buckle of the Bible Belt .” Oklahoma holds an interesting balance, as it is the end of the “Trail of Tears”.
There are things that have started out of Tulsa, OK that are impacting the entire earth. It has a special something in the water, a special anointing in the atmostphere. Oral Roberts University, Victory Bible institute, RHEMA Bible Institute, Teen Mania, 180* Youth and COUNTLESS others that are changing our world, and the vision of these has spread like wildfire. There have been words spoken in recent times that “So Oklahoma goes, so goes the nation.” Therefore, the vision is cast.
The Burn: Tulsa [Edition] is focused on bringing people forth to worship and pray and encourage each other in living lives dedicated to worshiping THE JESUS. What else is there? Should there be anything else for which we strive? Oh Lord that we could reach you! May we express our love for you in a way that is beautiful and worthy to set before your throne!
The Lord is coming, and we will prepare the way, and establish the temple in our hearts, and we [the bride] will burn our midnight oil, in wait for our Lover to take us to be with him (Matthew 25:10).
