Burn Shawnee / Regional Burn Director’s Summit Feb. 19th and 20th
There are going to be some changes made to Burn Shawnee for the month of February. For the most part we have tried to keep the Burn scheduled for the first weekend of every month which has helped everyone with consistency. But during prayer for next month’s Burn, the Lord instructed us to move the Burn to the February 19th and 20th which coincides with the Regional Burn Director’s Summit being held here in Shawnee. This is not a permanent change, from what the Lord has spoken to us, but we do want to be led by the Holy Spirit. The Lord began the Burn here in Shawnee and He IS the Director, so we do our best to listen and obey the instructions He gives for each month.
Sean Feucht will be with us for two nights of worship, teaching and impartation, as well as several Burn leaders and teams from the Mid-West region. A few of these teams will be participating in worship slots during the Burn.

Ephesians 4: 11-16 says, “ It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, 12 to prepare God’s people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up 13 until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ. 14 Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of men in their deceitful scheming. 15 Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will in all things grow up into him who is the Head, that is, Christ. 16 From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.”
We believe the Lord is opening doors and moving His Body into a greater level of revelation and authority. It is so exciting to come together and unite as one to worship and seek the face of our King. He is ready to pour out a river of His presence, unlike we have ever experienced before.
He is calling His Body into the fullness of what she is destined for. UNITY – MATURITY-TRUTH- AND LOVE!!!
Hope to See you on February 19th and 20th!

When the Lord speaks to you do you find yourself full of faith and expectancy, knowing that you’ve heard the voice of the Lord and what he has said to you bares witness deep within your spirit? But over time your faith begins to waiver, your passion diminishes and before long you forget the very things God spoke to you that resonated so deeply within. This has happened to probably every one of us at some point in our lives. In Matthew 13, Jesus speaks on this very subject in the parable of the sower. The farmer began sowing seed (message of the kingdom) and some fell along the path where the birds (demonic forces) quickly devoured it. Other seed fell in rocky places where there was little soil for it to take root. It quickly sprang to life but when the sun (the heat from troubles and persecution) arose, it quickly withered and died. There was seed that fell among thorns (worries of life and deceitfulness of riches), which grew up and choked the plants out making them unfruitful. Still there was some seed that fell on good soil (the man that hears and understands), which produced a crop yielding a hundred, sixty, or thirty times what was sown.
This parable applies so much to us today that we need to meditate on it and ask ourselves, “Where do I fit in all of this?” I believe part of hearing and understanding is the fact that we need to remember the things, which the Lord has spoken to us throughout our lives. In Revelation 2:5, John wrote to the church in Ephesus, “Remember the height from which you have fallen! Repent and do the things you did at first.” Again, he writes in Revelation 3:3 to the church in Sardis, “Remember, therefore, what you have received and heard; obey it, and repent!” Many times in the scriptures the Lord commanded His people to “Remember”.
During the Pre-Burn meeting of November’s Burn, the Lord began to tell us to ”REMEMBER” those things he had spoken to us concerning Shawnee, this state, this region, the nations and our individual lives. He said to make prophetic declarations over those promises he had made to us and to the ones who had gone before us. In Isaiah 62:6-7 [Amp.] it says “I have set watchmen upon your walls, O Jerusalem, who will never hold their peace day or night; you who [are His servants and by your prayers] put the Lord in remembrance [of His promises], keep not silence, And give Him no rest until he establishes Jerusalem and makes her a praise in the earth. The Lord has called us to “AWAKEN” to our first love. He is calling us to awaken our zeal to pray and our hearts to the promises he’s made for the city and the nations. These are key things we MUST do if we are to fulfill our destiny as individuals and as the Body of Christ!
Below are a few key prophetic promises the Lord has made for Shawnee and the entire region.
Sending Center: God has anointed our region to train, equip, disciple and send out people to the nation and the nations to carry the fire of His presence and the power of His Gospel.
Revival Center: This region will be a well of refreshing, revival and renewal. People will come from all over to be renewed, re-ignited and sent out with first love passion.
Bridge Building: This region will be a place of bridge building between the generations, cultures, genders, and bodies of believers.
Supernatural Unity: In this region there will be synergy, unity and glory in the church as misunderstanding, abuse and confusion are broken by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Healing Anointing: This region will have a grace for the gifts of healing and many will be healed, restored and made new in the presence of God. The Body of Christ will be known for the supernatural works of healing.
We believe with all our hearts that these things the Lord has spoken are true. If this resonates within your spirit, please be in prayer that what he has declared will come to pass in the days and years ahead. We believe that His presence will be at the heart of it all. In order to see these promises fulfilled we must “AWAKEN”, “REMEMBER”, and ask the Holy Spirit to “ALIGN” us with himself. Much of this will come in our intimate times with Him, through his Word, in worship and prayer and also in our relationships with one another in the Body of Christ.
Dig deep and cultivate that which the Lord has placed inside of you!
For His Glory,

Grace and Peace,The seasons have changed and a new day has arrived for the Body of Christ. The time has come for us to shake off the things of this past season and rise up and to take hold of all that God has destined for us to be and to possess in this new one. The enemy wants nothing more than to keep us from moving forward in the things of God and to keep us living in our past shortcomings, shame, failures, disappointments and even past victories that would keep us pre-occupied, not allowing us to see the new ground God has for us to possess. The Lord intends for us to arise, take our place as Sons and Daughters of the Most High and believe that this “New Day” is a season of breakthrough, revelation, power, provision, victory and a great harvest of souls! It’s time to walk in every thing that Jesus Christ has bought and paid for with his blood on the cross for his Bride.
For His Glory,

THE VISION
We are called to prepare a habitation for the presence of the Lord. God inhabits the praises of His people, so we believe it is our destiny and the Lord’s desire to prepare a place where there is a continual flow of praise and worship, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year until the return of our King.
Prayer and intercession are a vital part of the BURN. We are seeking to establish an open heaven over our city so that the glory of the Lord will arise and set our entire region on fire for Jesus Christ This will be a trans-denominational, trans-generational move of God which will bring unity to the Body of Christ and allow us to access one another to see the plans and purposes that God has for our region fulfilled.
We believe that the Tabernacle of David (Amos 9 and Acts 15:16-18) will be rebuilt in the hearts of God’s people and it will be a place where people with different gifts, callings, abilities, and ministries can come and get Refreshed, Reignited, and Receive direction while in the presence of the Lord. Then they will go out and do the work God has called and equipped them to do with power, wisdom, authority, direction, and with the prayer covering that is going fourth from the worshippers and intercessors at the BURN.
We believe that spiritual fathers and mothers who operate in the five fold ministry gifts given by Christ himself, will arise, disciple and train this next generation in the ways of the Lord, so that they will be equipped to carry on the cause of Christ to the nations and see victory through the power of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. This is our vision. This is our call. This is our deepest desire. To see the kingdom of God established here on the earth, to see His government set into place and to prepare the Bride of Christ for her Bridegroom’s return.
BURN SHAWNEE TEAM
This group of people are the ones who the Holy Spirit works through month after month and who labor tirelessly to establish a dwelling place for His Glory, through prayer, praise, worship and intercession. This is the Body of Christ working together to establish His kingdom! These servants include dancers, artists, musicians, singers, intercessors, apostolic leaders, pastors, prophets, evangelists, teachers and worshipers of every age group who come to be apart in glorifying our King who is the Master Builder. Unless He builds the house, we all labor in vain. We thank you, Holy Spirit, for what you are building in our city and in the nations!
Director
Ryan VanMeter is the director of BURN Shawnee in Oklahoma. He is presently worship leader at Fresh Bread Fellowship in Seminole Oklahoma. He’s been married for 10 years to his lovely bride Kristy and they have 2 beautful daughters, Hannah (8) and Abigail (4).
They are committed to seeing the walls of division in the body of Christ destroyed through the unity of worship and intercession unto the Father. Both Ryan and Kristy have a longing to raise up disciples who will establish the Kingdom of God here on the earth and be passionate worshipers of the Father.
Ryan has labored alongside David Fritch (co-director) for the past two years and many others in the Body of Christ to see the Tabernacle of David restored in their lifetime.
Ryan’s Story:
Ever since I was a kid I have had a longing to worship the Father with everything within me and have longed to know him more intimately. As the years have passed the hunger has grown. Now it has gone from just knowing the Father to making the Father known where ever He chooses to send me. I long for the day when the glory of God will permeate through His people and the lost will flock to them to be changed forever by the power and love that is flowing through them. The past eight years have been critical times in my life. The Lord has been teaching my wife and I many things from crash courses in spiritual warfare and deliverance, to an understanding of the prophetic, dreams and visions. Worship has always been a vital part of our lives but prophetic worship and dance has now become even more vital to us. Being a worship leader, I’ve always longed to lead people into a deeper relationship with the Father through worship but every time the worship service was over it always seemed like there was more and I would never be satisfied. The Lord was setting me up. Now I know what that “more” is. For me it’s not just ministering to man through the worship but it’s all about ministering to the Father’s heart. And as we minister to the Father’s heart, man will be ministered to as the Spirit descends and the Father’s glory arises upon His people. There have been prophecies, visions and dreams given to many people about this region in Oklahoma for years now. I’ve longed to see these come to pass but for some reason the Lord has tarried. I was in a desert period not to long ago working on a cattle ranch seemingly out of touch from everything that the Lord was doing, wondering if the things the Lord had spoken to others and to me personally was true. I also wondered if I had been disobedient in such a way that the Lord had passed me by. This went on for at least two years.
Then in February ‘07 it all changed. The Lord directed me to quit my job which I fought with for a couple of months. Then He sent my wife and I down to Texas for a few days in which He spoke clearly to us and He re-ignited the fire in our spirits. Coming back into this region of Oklahoma, the Lord restored our hope and vision and did a supernatural work within us. He let us know that everything that He had spoken was still alive and that His plan to restore His Glory in this region and nation had not been discarded. The heavenly atmosphere is changing even as I write this and God is getting ready to visit this region once again. Through a series of supernatural events the Lord introduced me to Sean Feucht along with a friend of his, David Fritch who I had not known before yet lived in the same town the Lord had called us to. David had not talked to Sean for a couple of years but had emailed Sean about starting a BURN in Shawnee the same day I had talked to Sean on the phone about the same thing. Since that day David and I have pursuing God’s will for the Burn is this region. The Lord has not allowed this to be a one person operation from the begining. He continues to bring people in who have just as much passion for the Burn as we do. God is doing this and I believe it will continue to grow until our Bridegroom returns for His Bride. His fire burns deep within us and we long to see Him face to face as we BURN before Him night and day. I am humbled to be a part of what the Father is doing in these last days.
