BURN DFW VISION
WE are a community of LOVESICK worshipers and intercessors dedicated to pursuing His Presence night and day, contending for revival in our generation.
The VISION is JESUS! We long to see a desperate generation rise up and prepare the way for the coming of our Lord and Savior!
The VISION is to consistently create a space where worshipers can come in complete freedom to an agenda free environment to just be with the Lord night and day and release the heart cry of a city for more of His Presence.
The VISION is to join with the local church to provide a place where creative expression in worship is welcome and invite worshipers, intercessors, musicians, artists, dancers, and poets into a place where they can step into their destiny and freely express their love and affection through the new song of the Lord, through the prophetic, and through the arts.
The VISION is to encourage, model, and cultivate true, vulnerable, authentic community in the place of worship and prayer.
The VISION is to see the Burn DFW become more of a cross cultural, indigenous expression of worship, involving worshipers from many different ethnic backgrounds.
The VISION is to operate in the spirit of unity and link arms with pastors and local ministries across the metroplex, as well as the growing house of prayer network, to stir up passion for worship and prayer around the city and to see it take root in the local church.
DIRECTORS
The Burn DFW Directors team is comprised of a group of volunteers who have given their time and efforts into seeing the Presence of God invade our city!
Marcus and Melissa Bell – Burn DFW Directors

Marcus and Melissa Bell
Melissa was raised in a small town in Eastern New Mexico and at a very early age, she knew she was called to the nations! Her life passions were always been worship, leadership development, and missions. In 2003, Melissa moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma to attend Oral Roberts University, became heavily involved in the worship department, and spent her summers leading worship teams doing worship evangelism in the nations. Her college years where a season of facing the war between “ministry” and intimacy with God. After graduating from Oral Roberts University Melissa began traveling with Burn 24-7 in the very beginning stages of the organization and was involved in launching many U.S. Burn cities as well as the first international Burns in Indonesia and Turkey. It was in the Burn that Melissa moved from the public platform to a deep love of the secret place. Melissa met Marcus, in Dallas, TX, at the BURN DFW! Marcus has a deep love for intimacy with God. He is a writer, musician, worshiper, and has a heart for justice and living in true community. He grew up in the DFW metroplex and became involved with the Burn DFW in October 2007 and has faithfully served until becoming a co-director in March of 2009. Together, they have a heart to empower the individual to dream for the impossible; to eliminate striving; to encourage young ministers to hold loosely to what is not “theirs”, lest it become another “ministry” or “good idea”; and to develop world changers who will not grow weary because they are fueled by the fire of intimacy with God. Their goal in life is to enjoy every waking moment, to live in freedom, to help cultivate communities of lovesick worshipers, and to make Jesus famous in cities across the nations!
