Welcome
My name is Matt Donahue. I am the director of Burn Marshall. Welcome to the site. We are in the planning and development stages as we speak. We are going to officially launch Burn Marshall at the end of June (probably the 21st or 22nd….)…click here for more information. Terrel Pierce (the director of Burn Detroit) is going to stop and join us for a Burn PREVIEW with other worshipers as they travel across the Great Lakes in the Burn Wagon–a mobile group of worshipers with one desire–to see the world set on fire with passion for Jesus! The Burn Preview will be a 2-3 hour citywide gathering in which all of pastors, city leaders, worship leaders, and the entire community is invited to come hear the heart, vision and direction of Burn 24/7.
I am eagerly anticipating the great things that God is going to do in our city as a result of Worship and Intercession! This excites me on many levels. First, the Burn is not a church and is not in competition with any church. This is exciting, because the Burn affords an opportunity for all of the churches of the city to come together and worship the Lord together and pray united prayers about community and national issues. The second aspect that excites me, is that through worship and intercession, I believe that all of the churches of Marshall will be blessed with an increase in the favor of God. I believe that we are going to see more salvations in 2009-2010 than we have seen in the last ten years combined.
The burn is not a place for teaching (this should go on in the local church). The Burn is a place that is dedicated to bringing the 24/7 incense of worship before the throne of God because He is so Worthy!
