Come join with hungry hearts to raise up a company with a Davidic heart to burn for Jesus, to join with brothers and sisters from other denominations in the body of Christ in one accord to shout the glory of God over the city of Perth, to see the youth of Perth raise up a standard and to ENCOUNTER the presence of the Lord and fellowship with Him, so that our lives, and the lives of those around us are changed…and much, much more.

It’s time to get the fire burning as we launch with a burst into 2010. New vision, new mandates, new mantles, new dreams….

IF YOU HAVE A HEART FOR THIS – YOU NEED TO BE THERE!

In October 2009, the first BURN 24/7 was held in Perth Western Australia at the Overflow Café, Northbridge (located in the nightclub district of Perth). Over 8 churches from various denominations across the city including, Forerunner, Perth CLC, Rivers of Living Water, Unitedprayer, Burn Director Sean Feucht and many others, came together for one night to cry out for our city in worship and intercession.

Each worship team took a two hour slot and simply offered their worship to the Lord on behalf of the city of Perth. This was a truly HISTORIC, epic, awesome event and one that I know we’re going to mark in our calenders as the BEGINNING of something many of us have been dreaming of for years!

At one point there were 3 levels of worship and intercession pouring forth – in the basement, on the first floor of the cafe and upstairs. A total of about 300 people gathered from all over. No one advertised this event – the spirit of God went out and bought them in!

Throughout the night random people would come in from the streets, wondering why they were drawn there, and get touched by the presence of God. Two young men gave their hearts to the Lord! The evangelists were busy outside the building witnessing to the huge amounts of backpackers and nightclubbers who passed the cafe. Even the basement was brimming with the prayers of the intercessors!

By 7.30am the next morning we were still 40 strong. We were tired but no one wanted to go home! I remember standing there at one point quite honestly overwhelmed that this was actually happening – that we did in fact have over 60 musicians and singers, sound engineers etc who came and went throughout the early hours of the night, bringing new energy and momentum as they came through the door, sacrificing their sleep, offering their worship to the King of Kings on behalf of this city.

This is an important time for the city of Perth.

There was no striving in what took place at the first Perth BURN. It was like we had been doing it for years…the ground was pregnant and something significant was birthed! I believe as we continue to meet together, then what began then will simply grow and increase and the anointing will increase and create even more of an OPEN HEAVEN over the city. More and more people will begin to come along and find that corporate place of worship – a true place of encountering the glory and presence of God.

‘After these things I will return, and I will rebuild the tabernacle of David which has fallen, and I will rebuild its ruins, and I will restore it, so that the rest of mankind may seek the Lord, and all the Gentiles who are called by my name.’ Acts 15:16

I believe that establishing a city wide, unified house of prayer and worship IS HIS AGENDA in this unique hour that we are living in. ‘Heaven is My throne and the earth is My footstool. Where then is a house you could build for Me? And where is a place that I may rest?’ Isaiah 66:1

So what do we need….

We need prophetic voices, those ones that God is raising in this hour to declare over this city His promises, His favour, His heart, His decrees…..

We need the evangelists – for the harvest of the ones coming in off the streets.

We need the intercessors – to offer continuous prayer before the Lord.

And we need the worshippers…..
The focus of THE BURN 24/7 PERTH is on two things:
Creating a resting place for HIS PRESENCE. In these times of corporate worship, doctrine is not a focal point. Our need to champion and experience HIS presence is the ONE THING we cry out for. We dream of having such an open heaven over the city of Perth that angels ascend and descend, building a ‘highway’ for the Lord to come in all His Glory. Regions and nations transform as we see principalities and powers shift in the heavenly realm through the power of prophetic/apostolic worship and prayer.

Gathering from across denominational lines in the spirit of unity – the heart for BURN PERTH is to see churches with that Davidic heart from all over the body of Christ in Perth start to rise up and offer their unique expression of worship to God. The beautiful thing about the body of Christ is the diversity of tribes in it. Burn Perth is a place where that diversity is celebrated and encouraged. It requires a CITY WIDE COMPANY who are prepared to come together for a set time – offer their worship to the Lord on behalf of our city corporately – and then return to their own place of worship.
