Nestled between post-Christian Europe and the Islamic Middle East, Turkey sits as a nation that once burned bright with the flame straight from the first Pentecost. As an early apostolic epicenter, Turkey was bursting as this new message of Christ was proclaimed with miraculous signs following. Many of Paul’s early church plants were started in this atmosphere of Pentecost fire. Sadly, over hundreds of years there were very few to stoke the flame and the fire has gone out. Burn Turkey seeks to fuel the restoration of this divine fire to the largest unreached nation per capita (about 2,000 followers of Christ in a land of 70,000,000).
Burn Turkey is a nameless, faceless, and grassroots movement of lovers whose dream is to see Turkey BURN with the pure vertical worship and passionate prayer though: vertical furnaces, missional communities, explosive outreach, authentic discipleship, and global insight.
