My husband Chris had an interesting vision back in October. He saw himself standing with people standing on his shoulders and people standing on their shoulders and so on and so on. There were many other people who had people standing on their shoulders in the same way. He said that it looked like something out of a Dr. Suess book. The people on the shoulders then began to bend backwards and find each other and join hands forming bridges. Within a few weeks, the vision started coming to fruition! We had the awesome priviledge of having quite a few Holy Spirit connections come in to our living room! There were people from YWAM, people who had served the night watch at the JHOP for many years, people from churches from one end of the region to the other who all have the same heart to see a breakthrough in this region! From there, the bridges have only gotten larger and better connected. This is the joining of the Kingdom in DC not just for one ministry but rather for one cause, the cause of the Kingdom! We dream to see 24/7 worship and intercession established 365 days a year in the DC area and to see His will on earth as it is in heaven!

The body is starting to join together in DC, and it is unanticipated, exciting and causing a massive shift in momentum. Here comes the bride in DC!

A divine transition of the seasons is taking place right now across the globe! Those of you in the Northern Hemisphere are entering into a beautiful autumn where the leaves are exploding into an array of gorgeous and vibrant colors. I’m writing to you from the GREAT SOUTH LAND OF THE HOLY SPIRIT (ie – Australia) where we are being thrust into the season of spring and the land seems to be “waking up” from its winter snooze!

I believe this transition in the natural is accurately reflecting what God is doing in the Spirit! He is transitioning us from “glory to glory” and expanding our capacity to receive and release His love across the world! We just returned from the one of the most epic journeys across the Middle East nations of the United Arab Emirates, Iraq, Turkey and Israel! ANTIOCH PRAYER INITIATIVE

I just wanted to send another short update on the prayer day coming up. I have been continually amazed by the numbers of cities that are jumping on board for this. God is truly pouring out a spirit of prayer on His people that is so clearly leading to a greater release of His presence. I am amazed at the size of the global company that is radically going after God in this hour!!! I really believe that we are going to see key shifts in our cities and regions because of this concerted effort of worship and intercession!

Fulfillment

Today I am literally sitting in the fulfillment of dreams and prayers have prayed for years. Years ago I saw visions of a young company of prophets that would give themselves to the place of prayer, worship and the study of the word and would take the gospel with power to the ends of the earth. In prayer I would see pictures of young people in a big house. I saw them in various rooms worshipping, praying, fellowshipping and prophesying. I saw them going in teams to unreached nations and prophesying to the dead and watching them live again. The vision gave me hope but as the testing and trials of life came the revelation would seem like a pipe dream.

From Playgrounds to Palaces: Recap of Burn Iraq

In reflecting back on the trip we took last month to Northern Iraq, I am blown away how God completely opened doors for His kingdom to be released not only in the particular region we were in, but throughout the entire Middle East. God had given me a clear word that if our team would go low and serve, He would give us the high places. It is humorous to me how incredibly literal those things can be some times!

It all started with a playground…our team of 10 fiery, passionate burners, got dirty, paint covered, and worked hours in the heat in the middle of the desert at a Kurdish Iranian refugee camp putting together a playground for the kids in that camp. Little did we know that our simple act of love and service would lead us into some of the most incredible opportunities of our lives.

God is moving all over the earth in this hour! We are witnessing the revelation of Jesus swiftly moving across the least reached nations of the world as the walls of Islam, terror and unbelief come crashing down!! I am writing to you from Northern Iraq where we are gathered with our team and long term burners filing the land with the prophetic song of the Lord! Yesterday, we were invited by hundreds of Kurdish political Iranian refugees to gather in Saddam’s old fortress in the region to sing, prophecy and pray on live TV broadcasted all over Iraq, Iran, Syria, Turkey and the middle east! This was MONUMENTAL and God’s presence flooded the place as people remarked “this is healing music for our nations!” Ever since I landed in the nation a few days ago, this verse has been imprinted on my heart:

“I tell you NOW is the day of God’s salvation, now is the day of God’s salvation” – 1 Cor. 6:1

COVERED IN THE SECRET PLACE: Update from Iraq

I’m writing today from a tiny desert village in Kurdistan (Northern Iraq) and the view from the roof top is a small village against the mountains and beyond is miles and miles of desert. I don’t have much to say other than that never in my life would I have believed that I would find myself here among these beautiful Kurdish people crying out for them to have an encounter with Jesus Christ! I am humbled and am in complete awe at how God has brought us to this nation and I believe that what will take place will shift the atmosphere, bring restoration, and break the ground for an outbreak of the Presence of God in the Middle East like never before! God is bringing streams to the dry land, the living water of the Spirit of God in this desert place! I have been reading Psalm 91 in a new light lately leading up to this trip and the first verse stopped me in tracks. “He who dwells in the secret place of the most High shall abide under shadow of the Almighty.” That is why we are here in Kurdistan with no fear, we have made the secret place a priority, we dwell there, we seek that place with all our hearts, we have a high value for our time in His presence, in fact, we have given our lives to the pursuit of the dream of God: intimacy! Not everyone dwells in the secret place, in reality, few really every find the joy and satisfaction in intimate relationship with God that takes us on deep, rich journeys into His heart bringing revelation that changes the very DNA of our being! It hit me, those who make the secret place the most important place will abide, live, find their safety in the shadow of the Almighty God! What comfort knowing that we are covered! Leading up to this trip, I have felt so completely covered in His presence as we go to place few dare to go! Life, love, relationships, and ministry: all of that must flow out of the overflow of those times with Jesus or it is nothing, powerless, fruitless, and will not last.

I’ve been reading an incredible book by Bob Sorge and in one of his chapters he speaks of the secret of the shut door. When we simply shut the door to all distraction, make time to be with our Lord in the quite, shut out all the cares and worries of the day and simply gaze upon His face, there is power. But not power for the sake of ministry alone, but power to transform us into the likeness of Jesus!

When you live in the secret place with the door shut tight to all distractions, when you walk in communition with the Holy Spirit with a fixed gaze, THERE you will abide under the shadow of the Almighty and from that place you can go with out fear and see the world transformed through Christ in you, the hope of the world! Dare to shut the door and be with Jesus and he will take you on the journey of a lifetime!

May you BURN fearlessly with passion for His Presence and GO into all the world with an unquenchable fire of the Spirit of God!

Some Days the Fog Lifts

Ever feel like you are walking around in a fog most of the time– really wondering if you are in God’s will, if what you are hearing is actually God, and if you are doing the right thing? These are the hazy days when you don’t even know who you are , how you got where you are, or where you are going? It seems like much of life is like this and probably rightly so because it keeps us so dependent on God and teaches us to trust Him in all of our ways.

Then there are those beautiful moments when the clouds part, the fog lifts, and a ray of sunshine comes bursting through and suddenly you can see life so clearly, where you are, where you are going and what you are supposed to do!

Well today was one of those days! I woke up with more than just an amazing sense of His nearness–I woke up convinced–an inner knowing that he was with me. It seemed to be as if everything was perfect about this day! I got a free drink at Starbucks! A friend devoted 8 hours to help upgrade the internship website and he seemed to be inside my head–he knew exactly what I wanted. My singing even sounded so good when I was worshiping this morning and ideas for songs came flooding in! It’s as if the puzzle pieces for several things came sliding together today!

The Lord spoke to me this morning and said that great blessing was coming to me today. I was so thankful for that word because I have been struggling…especially financially. I have been trying to raise money for my Middle East Trip and also to get my monthly support back up (I lost 50 % of it this summer—recession hits everyone even missionaries), but the money has not seemed to come in. I’ve really questioned God and asked him what I needed to do.

The Lord spoke to me to get my finances in order and to begin giving to a missionary friend. When I obeyed these two simple commands God began to open the floodgates of resource.

A friend called me today to offer assistance with my garage sale I was hosting in order to raise money for my trip. He then called me back to tell me he couldn’t help but that he acquired $500 from some people at his church that wanted to give to the trip! Wow!

As if that wasn’t enough, 20 minutes later another friend called to tell me they decided to support me on a monthly basis!

Later that day we found the perfect house to house the 8+ male interns coming in–another huge answer to prayer! I have had an incredible sense of clarity all day that I am smack in the middle of God’s will and that He is going to resource and provide for this dream that He has placed me in!

I ended the night sharing my heart with two future interns. The Lord was present and spoke through me and ignited faith and brought encouragement to two guys that Father God was teaching trust and faith to.

Wow! Thank you for the days when the fog lifts! I wish they could all be like this but I am thankful that when its not He is there in the midst of the haziness. I know the most growth comes in the fog but it is such a kiss from heaven when the fog lifts! I’ll let you know how tomorrow turns out!

God is turning the heat up in this hour and thrilling things are happening through the Burn Movement across the globe! We are literally witnessing the expansion of the Kingdom of God unlike any other hour in history! It’s been quite a busy month packed full of breakthrough mission trips, strategic and historic gatherings and local furnaces burning their midnight oil on a monthly and even weekly basis!

Just a few short days ago, we had the most significant leadership summit in our short history. Over 70 young leaders from all over the world gathered Dallas, TX for a catalytic weekend of prayer, strategy, fellowship and enjoying the Texas heat together! We had burners flying in from the Middle East, Europe, Asia and all over North America for this Global summit! We thank you for your prayers and financial support to pull this weekend off and see synergy, acceleration and divine wisdom released on our firebrand leaders to move forward with clarity and fresh fire! BURN UK UPDATE
Well, God continues to move through the BURN network here in the UK. We now have churches in around 20 towns and cities throughout Wales and England who are connecting with us. The most recent of these is Canterbury in the Southeast of the country.

Canterbury is famous for its incredible cathedral, and I have been invited to finish off a week of prayer in the cathedral by doing a seminar on prophetic worship followed by a mini-BURN evening event.

In other parts of the UK, we have had an evening of worship at Christ Church in Southport, who are running with the BURN in their town, and it was a fantastic night of worship and ministry. God really moved and we have been invited back in November.

Sean will be coming to Swansea in Wales directly after the BURN Summit (in August) for a youth conference there called “Burning Hearts”, which is hosted by a church in the area who are working with us. I will be there to lend support, and it should be a WILD conference!

In Bradford things continue to take shape, as a 24-hour BURN is being organised for September 3rd to 4th. I would say that Bradford is one of the most promising of the cities in the UK in terms of progressing the vision and ministry of BURN 24-7, so this is great news.

We are looking forward to Sean’s visit to the UK in March, when we will be ministering in several cities before going on to South Africa.

So far in the UK, our connections have been with churches in England and Wales, but recently God has opened up a door for me to meet with leaders in Belfast, where I will be spending a couple of days discussing the vision of BURN 24-7. Pray for doors of opportunity to be opened in Ireland, and in God’s timing, in Scotland too. We want each of the nations in the UK to be included in what God is doing through the BURN ministry at this time.

TEACHING OF THE MONTH Feasting in Famine – Part 2

“He prepares a table before me in the presence of my enemies [adversities].” – Psalm 23:5

Some Key thoughts from Part 1

• The Father truly has a feast of revelation for his sons in daughters in famine. This fresh supernatural word leads to new levels of breakthrough and fruitfulness.
• The purpose of famine in our lives is this: activating our spiritual hunger so that our desire for God, His Presence, and His Word, is the dominant appetite in our lives.
• Rather than being driven off of his inheritance by famine, Isaac remained where God assigned him to be, sowed in that land, and experienced dramatic breakthrough (Genesis 26:13).

Running From the Land
In contrast to Isaac, Elimelech responded to famine by leaving his God-given assignment, and departing from the inheritance of his fathers.

Now it came to pass in the days when the judges ruled, that there was a famine in the land. And a certain man of Bethlehem, Judah went to sojourn in the country of Moab, he, and his wife, and his two sons. And the name of the man was Elimelech (Ruth 1:1-2a).

Bethlehem, the “house of bread”, was located in the land of Judah, or the “land of praise”. This family lived in a good place in a difficult time. Not only was it a time of famine, but it was the time of the Judges.

The Time of the Judges
“At that time there was no king in Israel. People did whatever they felt like doing (Judges 21:25 The Message).” Everyone did what was right in their own eyes. Frightening. Especially since scripture teaches that “there is a way that seems right to a man” – a way that seems like wisdom – “but the end thereof is death” (Proverbs 16:25). Those days are eerily reminiscent of our own times.

“No king” means that there was no external restraint. When there is no external restraint, then what is really in the heart comes out. Israel was to be governed internally, obeying God’s commands out of love. (Jesus’ “love language” is obedience – John 14:21). In those days, the spiritual reality that surfaced was a famine of love for God.

Restraint and Revelation

Where there is no revelation [vision], the people cast off restraint. (Proverbs 29:18)

The bottom line is this – Elimelech cast off restraint! He went to feast at the Table of the World in a time of famine. He used his circumstances as an excuse to gorge himself at that table, rather than find the feast that God had prepared for him and his family.

Keeping our hearts anchored in the revelation we’ve been given is essential. In doing so, we are taught by the Spirit to feast where we need to feast, and be restrained where we need to be restrained. We need restraint at the Table of the World, and a huge appetite for the Table of the Lord (His Presence, His Word).

Appetite Problems
Some people, a lot of believers in fact, have an appetite problem. When it comes to the Table of the World, they have no problem stuffing themselves silly. But when it comes to the Table of the Lord, they push back from the table when they’ve hardly eaten a thing. They aren’t hungry for God because they are appeasing their hunger with all that is in the world.

They show restraint with the Kingdom, and only talk about “balance” when it comes to God, but never speak of balance when it comes to restraining themselves from the table of the world. They’re on a perpetual God-diet and a world-binge. They can give “chapter & verse” to justify their behavior, but they end up malnourished, with stunted growth.

Those walking in the light of revelation have a different set of appetites that the lead them to feast on the Word of God at the tTable of the Lord, and be restrained at the table of the world.

The Right Response in Famine…
…is to press in and become hungry for God, leading to a fresh visitation. It is not the time to shut down and withdraw. Famine is a time to press in to hear, not drift away. It’s a time to dig wells.

Elimelech, started in Bethlehem in Judah and ended up in Moab. A few verses later we see Ruth started in Moab and ended in Bethlehem! Her hunger for God aligned her with the purposes of God. She became David’s great grandmother, helping to usher in a great season of restoration in Israel with the Tabernacle of David. She was grafted in to the bloodline of the Messiah himself!

If you find yourself in a season of personal famine, be encouraged. Know that there is a feast of revelation your Father has for you. Your wholehearted response to it will bring breakthrough in you and your city, and align you with the purposes of God!

BURN MOZAMBIQUE RECAP By: Nathan Fray

We’re deep in the African bush. All day of driving across a beautiful, wild expanse leaves us feeling alive. Blue sky competes with blinding white clouds. The glory of God is in this land. After 8 hours we arrive at a small village. Stepping out of the car, a chorus of children’s voices hits our ears. No sound system. No instruments, just wild, abandoned praise and thanksgiving. This is burning in Mozambique at its finest. It’s hard to describe the feeling of dancing and singing with children with only the starry night to illuminate us. Rhythms I’ve never heard intrigue me. Passion is almost tangible. After two hours of dancing and singing outside, we head inside a small hut for dinner with the pastor and his family. Oh, and the worship outside never stops. After dinner, we all pack into a small church, lit by candle light for an impromptu church service with much of the village. More wild dancing and singing fills the hut as we sing or hearts out. All day of pot-hole dogging left us exhausted, so our tents beckoned us around 10pm. But the worship didn’t stop until late at night. This night we learned that the people here in Mozambique have no grid for time. They do not have “worship sets.” They live worship. We were all spurred to jealousy that night. To a Mozambican, God is worth their time. When my American tendency to look at my watch surfaced, I looked at the woman beside pouring sweat as her feet pounded the ground, and I understood…worship can’t be contained by time. Comfort doesn’t have anything to do with true worship. Mozambicans know this. And they worship until their hands bleed after beating the hand drums.

This was one night of many amazing experiences. I cannot capture the whole trip in one blog. But I will say… you need to go to Africa. Blessings and fire on everyone!

BLOG OF THE MONTH Confessions of a Christian Atheist

Is the gospel of Jesus Christ true? Did Jesus really walk the earth, forgive sins, heal the sick, and raise the dead? Did God become a man, endure temptation, suffer a horrible death on the cross and then rise again on the third day? I can hear people echoing a resounding, “Yes!” Most Christians would say amen to any of these statements and even be able to give some Biblical evidence. Yet there seems to be a massive disconnect between what we say we believe and what we experience! Can our doctrinal statement stand up to the next few questions and what it reveals about what we really believe?
If the gospel is true then when was the last time we personally saw it transform someone’s life? When was the last time you prayed for the sick and they got healed? When was the last time you shared this glorious gospel and someone turned from a life of sin? When was the last time demons actually manifested and departed out of someone in your presence? If you are like me I definitely hang my head low on some of these answers.

I realized on my trip to Israel that for all intents and purposes I might as well be an Atheist. Let me explain. God put me next to a Jewish man on our flight to Israel. I had a captive audience for 10 hours so I decided to open the conversation about Jesus. I spent 2 hours wrestling with this man’s mind and swapping doctrine for doctrine and to no avail. I mean after all I have a Master’s degree in Practical Theology and I have read a thing or two about what Jews believe…shouldn’t I have the upper hand? After this flight the Holy Spirit began to deal with me. He showed me that if I lived in the reality of the resurrected Christ I would have been joyfully proclaiming the truth of this and not trying to win an intellectual wrestling match.

For some reason we have equated right doctrine with Salvation, therefore we spend much of our time trying to get people’s brains straightened out and we spend even more hours trying to train people how to witness to unbelievers! Do you think Lazarus needed a 16 week course on evangelism after he was raised from the dead? When Jesus sent out the 70 he gave them so little instruction and resource that it was laughable to our modern methods (Luke 12). They didn’t even know how to pray yet but when they came back they came back shouting because the sick were healed and demons were exorcised! They were not effective because of their training, and eloquent speech. They were effective because they believed what they were sent to preach!

This Jewish man I sat next to on the plane didn’t need a thesis on Jesus as Messiah! He needed a witness! He needed to hear someone who had met the Messiah and had been raised from death to life! Teaching and discipleship come after the moment of encounter! I am not discounting the role of scripture and preaching in salvation but rather I am making a distinction between speaking from a stand-point of faith rather than unbelief.

This exposure of my unbelief has opened my eyes and has stirred my heart with excitement! Why? Because if He’s real and he’s alive I get to be a part of this great adventure of seeing His kingdom come to earth every day! If he’s real, why not pray for the lady in wheel chair at Wal-Mart? Or share his life-giving power with everyone I meet? Why would I withhold this glorious good news?

The rest of my trip to Israel I was a new man with a new perspective but the real test came when I got home! My first day home I went to Wal-Mart with eyes wide open looking to see who Jesus might want to heal or save! I kept asking, “Where are you moving?” and “What are you doing today Lord?” As I was leaving the store I saw I woman using a walker. I immediately started the wrestling match in my mind over how stupid I might appear etc. etc. Then I “manned”up and decided that if He is real then He can heal! Why wouldn’t I extend the mercy of God’s healing to this woman if I had the answer?

As I approached her I was surprised by my own boldness! I did believe! This is real! I told her that I am a believer in Jesus and that he heals the sick and I would like to pray for her healing. To my surprise they were very grateful and asked me to lift up their two children who were going in for surgery the following day. I really sensed a surge of faith as I prayed. When I was done I assured them that Jesus heard our prayers and that he was indeed moving for them and for their children. They were so blessed by what I did and kept thanking me.

I saw no visible sign of this woman’s instant healing but one thing I do know is that she encountered a different voice in her life that day! She encountered a voice of hope and life! How many people have just assumed that she would have to stay crippled? How many people ever challenged the spirit of infirmity in her body? Maybe no one! I believe this woman encountered Christ and I am expecting to see her again at Wal-Mart walking without any assistance!

Later that week I encountered an Indian woman limping towards her garage to get a wheel chair. I approached her with my new found confidence in the simplicity of the message of the cross. She said she woke up with severe pain in her leg. I told her Jesus is alive and he heals and she agreed to let me pray for her. After the prayer I asked her to test her leg for pain and to the glory of God she reported that the pain from that morning was completely gone. Once you see Jesus move you really begin to think differently every time you pray for someone!

Last night I prayed for a woman with several physical ailments including a extreme pain in her right foot! To make a long story short Jesus did it again! All the pain was gone after prayer and this woman’s faith was boosted to receive total restoration for other needs she has in her life!

“The Kingdom of God is not a matter of talk but of power” (1 Cor. 4:20). He’s alive! He has risen! If He is real then we must repent of our Christian Atheism and begin to prove the works of the Kingdom every day that we live and allow the Holy Spirit to do the convincing, and healing!

THE MOUNTAIN IS BURNING AGAIN By: Sean Feucht

I’m leaving the mountain today after a packed weekend marked by a divine convergence and an ever-increasing momentum in the Spirit. I’ve never encountered such a wild swirl of nations, tribes and tongues combined with longtime friends, new connections and a string of devote worshippers of Yeshua! This mighty throng was summoned from the four corners of the earth and uniquely led to join in the beautiful anthem released from this place over the past 24 hours. Many people didn’t’ even know why they came but they were simply led of the Spirit to gather on this specific weekend! This holy ground is known as a summit of confrontation where the person, power and fear of God is revealed and righteousness is again restored. The showdown between the Elijah and the prophets of Baal drew the line between light and darkness, idolatry and true worship and the god of this age and the God of the Kingdom. Not only did Elijah call down fire on the sacrifice to prove “the god who answers by fire – he is God” (1 Kings 18:24), but he also blocked the real demonic powers from manifesting through the Baal worshippers. He stood in the gap on behalf of his nation to silence their powers so God could display His. This conflict caused a severe rift throughout the nation and demanded people to align to one side of the other. Elijah even chastened them saying “How long will you waiver between two opinions?” (verse 21)

We believe the line was again emboldened and marked this weekend as the nations gathered to release a raw sound of adoration, love, warfare, intercession and fire. Jews, Arabs, Russians, Germans, Mexicans, Thais, Aussie’s, Kiwi’s, Canadians, Americans, Islanders, Brits, Dutch and more released a fragrance and sound in their native tongue that flooded this consecrated mountain and flowed down over the promised land of Israel! It was a love song and a war cry. It was beautiful, infectious, wild, loud, messy, organic and felt like Heaven on earth! The flow of the spirit was obvious to all who attended and we all carried a sense that this was a divine moment and not just another religious function! I’m once again blown away by how authentic unity is supernaturally manifested in the place of true worship. It’s happening in our 70 plus furnaces around the world as worshippers from many denominations, backgrounds and cultures gather together for no other reason than to enter into their eternal destiny as lovers of God. The beautiful truth is that laying down our “rights”, opinions, suggestions, and theologies allows us to enter into the language of the Spirit together. This language is throne-room-style worship we are all destined for and it blesses the heart of God that we engage in it before Heaven!

The BURN team stayed the entire night and poured out their finest and best in the closing hours of the inferno. They left literally sizzled when they got on the plane and so full of God’s plan and purposes for Israel and the nations of the earth! This could be the one short-term trip (out of the many we do) that I see the most transformation of those warriors who come. Everything shifts inside of them as God aligns us all to His great end time strategy for revealing himself to Jews and Gentiles across the world! Thank you everyone who prayed, sowed into this team and believed with us. We feel a shift has taken place and await to hear the of the amazing fruit to come!

It doesn’t take much to send me spiraling into though over the Lord’s unconditional love and adoration, but when I am faced with a reality like this, it overtakes me. So much has been going on in my heart and mind in the last few months as I have been preparing for my wedding this month. From planning the decor, picking out flowers, and praying for the provision to make it all happen, the reality of what it all truly means hit me as I stood in front of the mirror at the bridal shop in my beautiful white dress for the final fitting. All of life is preparation for the wedding day we will experience when the Bridegroom comes for us. We can get so caught up in the planning of that day and we forget that it is a preparation for eternity that is to come!

We must be ready, and when that day comes, we want to be prepared! Life is a journey toward that day. The truth is, He is coming for His bride and nothing will stop him from having her! Friend, there is nothing that you can do, nothing you can work for or toward that will change that love, that abounding mercy, that affection toward you! When you get a reality of that love, it will turn your mourning into dancing, your weeping into joy! It is a time to rejoice over our coming Love, the King of Kings and to sing His love song in all the earth!

All of life is a journey to love Him and be loved by Him and in 2010, we are taking that love to the nations of the earth and with open arms, inviting the world to receive His love! We are creating spaces where Jesus can be glorified and lifted up in some of the darkest places. There is a wedding day coming and we want to take as many with us as we can! The past few weeks have been an intense time in the spirit over the destiny of America and even over the nations of the earth. The enemy would like nothing more than to convince us America has no hope and the nations will never see the light of His glory. This couldn’t be farther from the truth!!! I have been riveted for days with intercession so intense I’m surprised the room I was standing in didn’t go up in FLAMES!! God is NOT weak! He has a remnant in reserve walking in HIS light that will subdue kingdoms, shake the very powers of heaven and even shift the ground we walk upon. Psalm 24:1 says, “The earth is the Lord’s and the fullness of it, the world and they who dwell in it.”

During this season of prayer, the Lord has strongly impressed on me the spiritual significance of an eagle. I have seen them starting to fly again in the spirit, God is beckoning His eagles to mount up with strength and begin to soar high. Prophetically, eagles represent the prophet/prophetic, and we are about to see some major shifting in the processes of the world as God is releasing them to speak out the word of the Lord. This is a season of exacting justice in the earth and this type of justice does not come through the rulership of man or government. In fact, I say woe to the man, woman or nation who would dare try to stop what God is orchestrating to bring about His kingdom. The eagles are coming!! And may I remind you, we have yet to see the vehemence of the sword exiting a prophet’s mouth with the likeness of Elijah, Moses or Samuel….BUT WE SOON WILL!!! I’m reminded of how the elders of Bethlehem trembled at Samuel’s coming. “Have you come peaceably?” they asked. He was on a mission from God!!

There are many things ahead for the earth that are very dark, but God has convinced me He has warriors who will not back up from the battle. They have been forged in the fire and will not know defeat. They have seen God in His glory and are forever seared by His mercy. They know His will and what His kingdom should look like and are not afraid to enforce it on the earth. In the midst of tyranny, they will learn what it means to subdue a kingdom! They will hear the groaning of the prisoner and loose those who are appointed to death. They will see victory and righteousness rule a land! They will not give up until they see God’s desire upon a nation!

Many of you reading this are probably the ones God is beckoning to FLY WITH HIM. It is time we come up above the storms of the earth and see through God’s eyes the plans He has for the nations of the world. It is time for us to release justice through the prophetic word of the Lord! It is time for mountains to be merely obstacles we soar over. We are entering a season of incredible battle and this must be our attitude as we WILL OVERCOME through the power of our Lord Jesus!! The phrases written here are but a glimpse into the near future of the great exploits that will be witnessed in the earth!

Toward the end of our time together with our Father that evening, it was as if He had every one of us cuddled up in His Lap. We were just enveloped in His love, experiencing joy, peace and rest way beyond our understanding. We were HOME. How wonderful it was just to be HOME with Him for a little while. “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind can conceive what God has prepared for those who love him…” 1 Cor. 2:9 Thank You, Lord, for this wonderful “Taste of Home”. It was absolutely delicious!

TEACHING OF THE MONTH / SEEDS OF REVOLUTION

Recently I was assaulted with very familiar thought pattern that has knocked on the door of my heart pretty frequently since I have been involved with the Burn. The thoughts usually come in the form of questions like, “is this really working?”, “can our city really be transformed?”, and “Is anyone really getting this?” These thoughts usually occur after our community has been contending, worshiping and praying in a city for a long period of time with little results. These questions are usually the enemy’s weak attempts at discouraging us and trying to get us to back off. I believe what God has been doing through the Burn in our cities contain the seeds of Revolution.

Don’t Underestimate the Power of a Mustard Seed

Recently I was leading a set at the Burn Dallas and the Holy Spirit began to inspire me to sing, “Don’t underestimate the power of the mustard seed.” What t He revealed to me in this set gave me inspiration and courage to keep moving forward with the vision of seeing cities across the earth transformed!

When Jesus taught He used many earthly examples to help us grasp what the Kingdom of God is like. He likened it to a “mustard seed, which a man took and sowed in his field, which indeed is the least of all the seeds; but when it is grown it is greater than the herbs and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and nest in its branches” (Matt. 13:31-32)

Think about this radical statement! He uses a mustard seed, the smallest of all seeds, to describe the Kingdom of God, which contains his transforming power, and his un-equaled authority. This is a kingdom that cannot be out-ranked by any earthly authority. In this Kingdom He holds the power of every living creature in His hands! His Kingdom existed before and will exist after any kingdom that every existed. At first glance comparing the Kingdom of God to a mustard seed seems absolutely ridiculous and yet we find that the mustard seed is the perfect example of how God chooses to work in the earth. Don’t under-estimate the power of this seed!

Seeds of Deliverance

When God wanted to overthrow the tyranny of Pharaoh’s reign over Israel, he started it in the hearts of God-fearing women who risked their life to spare a baby from being murdered. What Pharaoh didn’t know was that the very one that would challenge his authority and deliver a nation was being raised in his very own house. None would have suspected such intentions from Moses as a baby, a child, or even as a teenager. But as He grew, the heart of God grew in him, and one day in front of a burning bush this mustard seed became a revolution and set a nation free! This is how the Kingdom of God works! He places His power, authority, and glory in the smallest and most unlikely of packages.

Strangers in the Land: An Honest Perspective

Lately, I’ve felt like a complete foreigner, a stranger to this planet, one who has recently observed the current surroundings and accessed the situation, coming to clear conclusion that each day the feeling of alienation becomes more severe. Not to mention, actually worshiping and praying all night long is certainly foreign! Anyone who as been involved in the Burn has asked the question, “What am I doing here at 2am again?” Glamorous is not the right word for it.

I don’t know about you, but lately it has been a daily challenge to not be affected by the environment around us that so often lures us into a hopeless, overwhelmed state! Symptoms may include writers block, mental block, void of emotion…this sick virus of apathy is infecting a generation and we have to fight it off daily! We’ve all experienced those seasons when we pick up our pens, instruments, or our paint brushes only to stare at a blank sheet of music or canvas with no inspiration at all to see colors fill it. We’ve all had moments when the words on the page blur into a thousand black dots and our attention spans wont let us feel the peace we once felt. Our skill at communicating great revelation to the masses becomes a challenge. Our journals become dusty pages with the last entry dating two months ago.

At times, our thoughts are consumed with the status of checking account and the reports on CNN have overtaken our sense of joy! Fear and anxiety knock at our doors and are constantly searching for access into our lives to poison our existence and steal the recognition of our status as sons and daughters of God. Everything around us seems to get darker and more gloomy while we become more and more aware of how strange we are in comparison to our surroundings. We are not of this world yet we are in it; living, moving, and at times it seems we are running uphill just to survive! We are strangers in a foreign land and we are going to look more and more peculiar in the days ahead.

Singing a Different Tune in the Midst of Gloom

Where is the song of hope in this hour? The doom and gloom, the negative circumstance, the reports from the “ten” we cling to because of the power of what appears to be “reality” instead of believing the report of “two” who communicate in the unseen realm of faith that we still have the victory and the God we serve will not be mocked. I find myself shaking my head in amazement yet again as I look at the state of our nation, at the depravity of the world around me, at the famine of truth; and yet there He is in all His beauty on His throne in all His power and majesty simply longing for a tribe who would turn their eyes from the discouragement and circumstances at hand and like David, declare “Come and see the works of God, His acts toward us are awe-inspiring! (Ps 66:5)!” We are called in this hour to sing a different tune in the midst of gloom, a song of His faithfulness towards us!

As we journey through this world in this time, the Lord has been speaking to me lately about the contrast of the flesh and the the spirit, a contrast between darkness and light that is going to call for more than just the day to day Christianity and involvement in ministry that we’ve become so accustomed to. It is going to be a wake up call to sanctification in the heart of every individual as God begins to use every conflict, every hardship, every battle, and every circumstance to reveal a part of us that needs to come into alignment with the Spirit. This is going to call us to a higher level purity and faith DAILY! To sing a different tune from the world, we must believe in the victory we have and cry out with the same desperate cry of “search me, Oh God and see if there be any wicked way in me!”

Faith to Fly

We are in a time when we can no longer live in our unsanctified soulish ways, God is calling us to operate from the Spirit and to align ourselves with the TRUTH that we live in the greatest hour in history, causing us to step outside our comfy nests and be a voice in this generation! I was talking with a friend at a coffee shop the other day and we began to discuss how Jesus refers to the birds of the air in Matthew 6, explaining that they do not sow, reap, or store up and yet the Father takes care of every single need! Psalm 84: 3 says “Even the sparrow finds a home and a nest for herself where she places her young near Your alters, Lord of Hosts!” The Psalm goes on in verse 10 saying “Better is one day in Your courts than a thousand anywhere else!”

God desires so much for us to be like the birds of the air who are among those who find our home in His house, in the presence of the King of Kings. In that place, we lack nothing and we have nothing to worry about. We were created to soar above our circumstances and see the world from the perspective of our Father! We are His and we belong to Him! So if you are asking, “Is this all worth it, is worshiping night and day really doing anything!” The answer is this, you were created to love Him, to worship Him, and to give him access through our faith in Him to show up on the scene and invade our lives with the supernatural love He longs to lavish upon us!

Be encouraged. YOUR LIFE is the song of hope to a world in crisis!

USA UPDATE

Recently, the Lord dropped in my spirit a word concerning the Christians in America, specifically, the praying ones. It was a strong to word that they were being awakened to the urgency of the hour but they were not properly equipped in their spirit to prevail against the darkness coming to the land.

Many things are being unleashed in the earth and the enemy it seems, has “upped the anty”. Many are being hit with deadly disease. Kingdom is rising against kingdom. Nations are raging and the light seems to be threatened on every side. As the Lord was highlighting all this to me, again, I knew most were not ready. They have not been forged in the fire; God’s fire that is! They do not know how to pray to the point of overcoming victory. . In order to prevail in the season we are entering it will require an extreme amount of spiritual strategy, wisdom, perseverance and POWER in the spirit. This does not come by accident! It comes through knowing God intimately and being utterly immersed in His mighty Spirit!! Jesus, our example, received the Spirit of God without measure!!

It is time to WALK IN POWER WITHOUT MEASURE!!!! I firmly believe the generation alive today possesses the spiritual armament it takes to absolutely annihilate disease, change entire nations and utterly destroy the works of the devil! In order to see this, we must understand who we are as God’s people walking the earth. The bible says the earth is the LORD’S!!!! ANY QUESTIONS!!!! We must saturate our selves with His Presence! AS we do this we will be equipped to deal with the days that are coming so quickly upon us, and are here even her now.

As BURN directors, we can recognize this and do what we can to provide an atmosphere for people to know God in the most intimate way, thus equipping the rousing Christians in America. The best equipping is GOD Himself!! As we are doing our BURNS every month and calling our cities to join in, many will be equipped and filled with the God of fire Himself!

BLAZE MANIFESTO – July 3-5

The BLAZE MANIFESTO is taking place this July 3rd, 4th, and 5th. It will be located in the Historic Triangle also known as the cradle of America. We will be publicly releasing the sounds of heaven in the strategic and historic sites of Jamestown, Williamsburg, and Yorktown, VA. The Lord has called us to prophecy to the womb of the United States through a new sound and a new song. We are to contend for a rebirth to take place. There’s a generation rising that is relentless in their pursuit of the King. We are meeting these “Burning Ones” everywhere we go, usually during the “night shift” of the Burn. They have been ruined for the ordinary life and feel out of place in the “American dream driven”, materialistic, nine-to-five world they find themselves in. They feel compelled and called to minister to the heart of God and will find any place that has opened the doors for this…this is why they have found the Burn! Yet these Burning Ones don’t want to just sit in the prayer room, they want to be on the front lines. I’ve heard many of them say that they have felt called to this life of worship and intercession but to missions also and as a result they don’t see where they fit in the current order of things. However, we are beginning to see with greater clarity that God is merging these two movements together and now we see a generation that was born for this moment in time! A new breed of minstrel-missionaries are crying out to be poured into by spiritual Father’s and Mother’s and we will not and cannot ignore their cry. They are desperate to have relationship and to be sent! As a result, we have received a mandate from the Father to equip and release this burning tribe to take their place as intercessors, prophets, minstrels and artist in the great unfolding drama of the Great End-time harvest! Prophetic Context

Cindy Jacob’s received a word about San Francisco/Bay Area being a womb that births culture movements. Though this has been true in a negative sense, the God-given destiny over our region is to release a Kingdom-movement.

The first is that we in the Bay Area need to be willing to receive and embrace the supply (help) from the outside. The Justice House of Prayer San Francisco has been in the city since 2006. Though we planned to come for a season, we fell in love with the city and have been contending ever since for the promise of New Life here. We feel a strategic time has been revealed for this year.

Our good friend Sean Feucht with Burn 24-7 has been releasing a rally call for worshippers all over the nations. He has also been gripped with a sense that we are in a “now” time for San Francisco.

Times and Seasons Intersect– Woodstock, the Moravians, and San Francisco

The Lord put it in our heart to do a prolonged outdoor worship and prayer event this summer. After this began to stir, we began to realize the significance of this time.

This summer is the 40-year anniversary of Woodstock. 1969 was a year that released a 40-year cycle. We believe that we are in divine window to release a new cycle and a new movement! The Lord has highlighted our city to many believer’s hearts across the nation.

On August 13, 1727, the Moravians gathered under the leadership of Count Zinzendorf and a Pentecost of brotherly love and day and night prayer was poured out. This released an Apostolic Missions movement. This date gives us the start date of Tabernacle SF.

August 15th 1969 40 years ago a sound was released that captivated the youth culture of that day. It is time to release a sound of worship to reverse the curse of Woodstock. Redemption’s Song!!

On August 13th-22nd We will be gathering in different places in the city to release worship and creativity into the city to bring a change in the atmosphere. We believe it is time to give birth to San Francisco’s destiny as a center for apostolic community and mission. We believe this is a summer that could change the destiny of our city.

• It is time to release the sound of Worship, and the sound of pure-hearted ministry to God!
• It is time to reverse the curse of sound that held a generation captive!
• It is a time for a Renaissance, a re-birth of the Worship arts!We are calling the artisans, song-writers, and poets to San Francisco to release Davidic sound.

The beloved year in Indonesia is over. When we talk about it we are now speaking in past tense. How can we possibly express all that God has done in us and through us throughout the time we were over there. The love that was birthed inside of each of our hearts for that people group is overwhelming. Indonesia has become so much more than a word, more than a distant country, and more than a dream. Around six months into it, we began to learn that it was becoming a home for us and the people would be engraved in our hearts for the rest of our lives.

Before this great adventure began, we as a team wrote out goals for the year to help us stay motivated and focused. We wanted to see:

1) A sustained Burn furnace in the city of our location, that would keep going even after our departure.

2) A strong Burn Team of Indonesians who would have the passion and determination to see their city Burn till the day of Jesus’ return.

3) and of course… REVIVAL!!!

We are thrilled to be able to come back to the U.S.A. with a GREAT report. Over the 9 months that we were in Kalimantan, slowly but surely a team was formed of 5 amazing men and women of the Lord. They have such faith and hope for their city and want so badly to see it revived with the Fire of the Lord. Burn Team Pontianak are keeping it going over there, and are having their first solo Burn on March 13th! THANKS BE TO THE KING OF KINGS AND THE LORD OF LORDS!!!! We are so proud of each of them and can not wait to hear the stories and praise reports that comes out of that city.

Indonesia is truly a SLEEPING GIANT. When she wakes up out of her slumber, she WILL crush the kingdom of Islam!!!

We will never forget our year in Indonesia. We are permanently marked from the faithfulness of the Lord that we have personally witnessed in our day to day lives over there. Jesus truly reigns over the Islands of Indonesia. And we will contend till that giant comes alive again.

Thank you all so much for everything you have done for us through prayers, financial support, and words of encouragement throughout the year. We really could not have done any of this without each and everyone of you. It was always so good to know we had a big family back home being our defensive support!

We love you. And we are so happy to be back home!

I know this sounds cliché, but my year in Indonesia 08/09 changed my life! Stepping on that plane last March I honestly had NO IDEA what I was getting myself into. The dreams and goals I had set in my mind, I soon discovered, were tiny in comparison to what God was envisioning.

I really had no clue how much a girl could grow up in such a short time. The Lord stretched and molded me at a rapid pace, and I’m not going to lie… at times I felt those growing pains. But now as I look back I can see a little bit more clearly of the amazing things my Father was doing and WILL CONTINUE to do in me.

Now, I don’t want you to think this whole year was just about me. OH NO, not at all. Our goals as Burn Team Indonesia were to : Plant a sustainable Burn Furnace, and build relationships with the locals – pouring all of ourselves and imparting the passions and revelations the Lord has so graciously given to us. I can stand here and say in all honesty that I really feel we accomplished those goals. No, it did not look exactly how I pictured, and no it was not easy. But the beauty that came out of our time in Indonesia cannot be explained. So many times we did things the hard way and failed, but we just had to pick up our crosses and try try again.

Surprisingly to me, one of the hardest things I experienced while planting this Burn was working with the Churches. I cannot even count how many times we were shut down and disrespected. Bringing something totally foreign and outside of tradition and religion to people who live in a country that is oppressed with both, seemed close to impossible at times. They welcomed us with open arms. But once we got to the part about being a TRUE follower of Christ and not just being a Christian because your identity card says it, they didn’t like us as much. Our focus soon turned to reprimanding them for their VERY religious mindsets. Can you imagine three young people speaking to very influential church leaders, and telling them to WAKE UP? We were not “qualified” in any way other than we are listeners of the Holy Spirit, and we are trying to walk in obedience as much as we possibly can. We did as He led us, and had to keep ourselves in check to make sure none of it was coming out of any sort of judgmental spirit. We truly fell in love with the Indonesian people and we just want them to experience all that the Lord has for them.

God helped us out and led us to certain people who had been praying for years for something like this to rise up in their city. We were able to build close friendships with them and share all the Lord had burdened us with for that beautiful country. It was interesting being the “mentor” to men and women much older than I. For them to look up to me like I was something special was kind of hard to believe. God stretched, molded, and grew me up in numerous ways in those 12 months. I feel so privileged to have learned the lessons I learned at such a young age.

Indonesia will forever have a tremendously special place in my heart. I have never loved a people group so much. Learning the culture, language, and differences in thinking was one of my favorite parts. I will never forget my time there. It is so good to know that there is still a Burn Team there keeping what we started. They are determined and passionate about seeing the Burn sustained there for as long as it will go.

My eyes have been opened. God has revealed Himself in many new ways to me over this past year, and I now feel so much closer to His heart. I know that I still have a very long way to go, but I also know that I will look back on this year as a major building block to my foundation!

Thank You Jesus for Your Mercy and Grace that is everlasting!!!

How to tell all that has happened in a year. It is not an easy thing to do when God is at the helm of your life. Over the course of this year, the Lord has taken me to the depths of who I am and showed me his beauty in me. I went to Indonesia with the plan of pouring all of myself out to the people but while there, the Lord filled me up to over flowing. As the girls and I went to Kalimantan, we were fired up to see God move in us and through us. We were met with open arms and with all of the support we could ask for. Many asked us to come and preach and share or play music in their churches. When we prepared to pray and worship at the appointed time they simply would not show up. At first, it was very easy to judge them and see all that was wrong with the churches there but the Lord soon dealt with me. Jesus showed me how to love them and to look passed some of the things and to speak a corrective word on others. There was one time when we went to this meeting with maybe 30 pastors or more and for the first time I really felt the “anger of the Lord”. He told me that they were arguing over things that did not pertain to His kingdom and it broke His heart. I was overwhelmed by this feeling and I felt the Lord wanted me to say something but the word was withheld, so I went into a bathroom and just cried and cried. When I came back out, I found out what they were arguing about. The argument was if only pastors should come to our prayer meeting or if others could come. I understood why the Lord had touched so strongly. I could relate to you one story after another like this, however, the Lord had changed my approach on how to deal with this type of sarcasm by the end of the year. He showed me how to love these pastors and not to alienate them to realize a change. There is something so great about our God, how He will take us to wherever He must to see a breakthrough in us. There were a lot of God encounters that took place in me. Father God called out from the deep places of my heart and removed my insensitivity setting me free from judgment. Praise Him!

God gave us many great friends this year, people willing to stand along side of us and fight for “His Kingdom to come and His will to be done” in Indonesia. It was great as we would have Burns with the furnace of His presence fully on fire and see our new friends just get it! They would then allow the Lord to take over and just sing new songs from their hearts. As we focused on the “Kingdom of God” related to God’s perspective instead of our agenda seen through fleshly eyes, the “breakthrough” to realms of glory were powerfully encountered. I know though many of the seeds planted will not be seen for years, we do not lose heart for the word declares “some plant and some water but God brings the increase”. Again, I say praise Him! We went to Indonesia, not for ourselves but for the mission that God had set before us and I am glad to say that we were and are more than over comers through Him. We are not worn out and dead coming home but we are full of His fire, ready for the next season that the Lord has for us. We know everything we went through has made us stronger and wiser. We have returned to the states ready to be used with greater impact as the Holy Spirit guides. I am glad to say I will never be the same, the Lord has changed me from the inside out and it is all because He loves me and wants to do even greater things in and through my life. It has not been easy but as my great friend, Brit says “it hurts so good!” I am not the best writer (by now you figured that out). I am a preacher, if I had you in front of me I would say so much more, but for now – I loved God going to Indonesia and I love Him even more coming back, full of His fire and full of His grace! Let’s take on more territory for Him together!

Let me be honest. I have done everything I can to procrastinate the writing of this summary. Not because I do not want to give God the glory due to his name or because I am not overjoyed to be back in America; but because writing this really means that the hardest and the best year of my life thus far is complete. I am afraid too that I will not have the most eloquent language to describe or express all that the Lord has done. I am scared that those reading will not understand… because my humanistic vocabulary will never do God justice. I pray that as you are reading this the Lord gives you supernatural insight to what really happened in Indonesia… and it is far beyond my words.

Our goals for our year in Indonesia were to see a prayer house planted where passionate, radical intercessors and worshipers could come and cry out for one of the darkest places in the world. We longed for the churches in Indonesia to wake up from their slumber and see the need in their land. A missionary friend of mine describes Indonesia as: ‘The Sleeping Giant.’ And it could not be said better. Once Indonesia arises…. She will be unstoppable. While we were there, we also did our best to disciple those around us and to duplicate ourselves to a close group of friends. I sincerely thought that we would come home with some of those being incomplete. Man, God is awesome. What a testimony to his faithfulness that we left with every single one of those fulfilled. Borneo now has a local Burn Team fueling the fire in the furnace. With all five of them we were able to build close, intimate relationships and were truly able to teach them every revelation given to us. And even the most incredible of these things- we saw the spirit and the tangible presence of God come and transform the hearts of his children. There is nothing greater.

Indonesia. The name will forevermore stir my heart. I journeyed to this country with a compassion for the lost. I left with a download of LOVE so astounding that I will never be the same. I went over expecting to see breakthrough in the churches and I came back with breakthrough in my heart. I gave it all for this nation and ended receiving way more than I ever gave. I love the way the Lord works. There was a shifting in the heavens this year… and a shifting in my spirit.

About month five/six I was so ready to come home. I was done with this and I wanted out. I was so ‘dry’ and I did not have English worship to sit in…. I could not look forward to a really amazing spiritual sermon at the end of the week…. And to top it off: men and women much older and wiser than me were continuously looking to me of all people for what the Lord was saying. Overwhelming! And then the Lord came to my rescue and taught me how to die to myself at a deeper level. He renewed my mind and in that came my metamorphosis. He literally took me from one glory to the next. He is too good. In October I experienced monumental increase in my relationship with him. I do not know why October and not April or December but I do know that God’s timing is perfect. He came right when I needed him and not a minute sooner or a second too late. He opened my eyes to the spiritual realm and the battle that we are daily fighting. He began giving me insights to things like intercession, his will, his word, healing, power, authority…. And he began increasing my capacity to love like the Father. In February I experienced the Lord in the most profound and intricate way that I ever have in my life. Twice! He is breaking me…. And restoring me with his love. It is extraordinary. He is extraordinary.

God is good and he is love. On top of everything else that he has taught me over the past year… that is the one lesson that is the closest to my heart.

There is so much more that I could say… but it would pale in comparison to what I experienced with my Abba. I knew the Lord would move this year; I just did not know to what extreme. I am so grateful that the Lord does not do anything half-heartedly. I saw revival this past year… and to claim that I did not would be discrediting the wonder of what the Lord does. Chains were broken this year… captives were set free. Jesus reigns in what the world calls the largest Muslim nation. I am so thankful to know the truth.

Thank you guys so much for your prayers this year- I am extremely honored and deeply touched to have you guys standing behind me in this battle for those who have yet to believe. Keep praying for Indonesia.

The reality of this last weekend was indeed something out of a wild dream that I believe still deserves some interpretation. It is funny to me that while we are called to faithfully walk this narrow road, unexplainable things happen along the way that cause you to seek out His will and ask deep questions.

Within minutes of when my plane left from DFW airport (Dallas) last Thursday on my way to Bozeman, MT, an explosion rocked the downtown Main Street of the city as five businesses were engulfed in flames including the town’s most famous college bar. Ash and debris flew over 60 yards in the air as the historic district erupted due to an old structured gas line that blew.

God has raised up a remnant in the earth that are desperately crying out for the promised awakening, outpouring and shift in the body of Christ that will overflow into a massive harvest of souls in the earth. As we labor towards this end, this reality can seem like a “pipe-dream”, an ideal that may never come to pass. Weariness can set in as we look at the overwhelming needs, ever-increasing sin, and the spirit of destruction unleashed on our generation and all the while the church seems to remains hard, unbroken, divided, and virtually uninterested in what we are contending for night and day. Yet the Lord has given us a weapon to fight with, the prophetic song, which I believe is shifting and will shift individuals, cities and nations into their destinies! As we come into a greater understanding of how to wield this weapon then I believe we will see God’s purposes collide with earth and usher in the greatest movement in human history!

I write to tell you today, if you let life and the cares of this world, the plans of the future, the good ideas, dreams and visions take precedent over the here and now, you will miss out on the gift of God in today and the beauty of a life time of continually abiding in His Presence.

We just finished our first ever BURN 24-7 Regional Summit here in Dallas. It was amazing! We are so honored to build God’s kingdom with some of the most awesome people across America. We prayed fervently over the BURN directors in the south central region of the US for a shift in their cities. The next day each director took a set and we had one all BURN directors set!! Last year the Lord revealed in prayer there would be a handful of regional BURNS in America that would significantly impact the region where they were being held. This summit was one of those!!

Last week I was with our BURN directors in Salt Lake City, Utah and Boise, Idaho. It was definitely a time of shifting and impartation!! The fire of God was released with much intensity during our BURN preview in Boise. As the worshipers of the city began to release the spontaneous sound of praise over the Treasure Valley we sensed such a shift in the atmosphere that is assured to bring visible change. New people began to step out and release songs of fire prophesying over the region. Transformation can begin with a word!!

In Salt Lake City we did a BURN Preview where the majority of the people attending relayed to us they had never heard of the BURN. So the vision of vertical worship was demonstrated and revelation was shared on how we are establishing worship furnaces all over the U.S. for the purpose of creating God a place to inhabit.

The next stop was Denver!! Incredible is the power of praise over the highest places in the mountains!! As I flew in over the range the Lord said sing over the high places. Literally!! So I did and felt I was flying in on the prayers of those who had gone before and contended for Denver. God is establishing HIS praise even higher than the highest places and visiting Denver was a prophetic picture of that very concept.

I believe it is time to bring cataclysmic change to the culture of America!! It‘s time to raise the dead in the Churches of America!! If we are going to effect culture we’ve got to know the God of power!! This brings me to a recent revelation God gave me during my travels and prayer over various U.S. cities. I sensed an ease in the spirit that many US cities would be easily transformed with a little spiritual fortitude and true faith in God.

I believe we have entered a time where there can be so much prayer and worship that the forces of darkness are easily routed and confounded (for instance, Mormonism, witchcraft and disunity etc..) Meaning their influence over masses of people can be easily replaced by God’s Presence as we release the sound of praise, heartfelt worship and power filled declarations. We need to understand this revelation and what is happening in the unseen realm as we simply sing to the Lord. We should really go for it in our cities, believing God for entire cultural transformation. God is pouring His mercy out where we cry out!! We really stand at the door of a major change in our country IF WE WILL JUST BELIEVE!! I pray the gift of faith be released on all of our BURN directors giving them the ability to believe for the impossible to happen before their eyes!!
