• Vertical Worship - Vertical worship speaks of the singular focus of the worship leader and the worshiper upon ministering to the Lord. The emphasis is vertical (God and Man) rather than horizontal (man to man). In the horizontal format worship leaders are concerned with helping everyone enter in to the flow of worship. In the vertical paradigm the worship leader ministers to the Lord and thereby creates an atmosphere for people to spend long, loving hours in the presence of God.
  • Watchman/watchmen - [biblical term] This refers to the requirement for us to watch over the Body of Christ while having a discerning, biblical understanding of end-time events. Our privileged calling is to intercede for God’s people and to co-partner with God’s unfolding plans in this final hour of human history, hastening the day of Jesus’ coming, our Savior and Bridegroom (Isaiah 62:6-7)
  • Watch and pray - [biblical phrase] This is a requirement that we live as wise sons and daughters, understanding the times and seasons in we which we live, interceding accordingly that we might not misunderstand what He is doing but remain focused on His will and His affections (Romans 13:11-14; Colossians 4:2). The sons of Issachar (also called the men of Issachar) are examples of this (1 Chronicles 12:32; Matthew 26:41; Mark 14:38; Luke 21:36)
