Yes tonight is the grand finale to the XXX Olympiad and summer games here in London, England. It the highest attended event boasting the largest constituents of nations in the history of the Olympic Games. It is also the most expensive Olympics ever with the opening ceremony alone costing over 42 Million dollars!

But there is an even more impressive, weighty and powerful culmination that simultaneously taking place tonight. At a historic church located just outside the Olympic village on the corner of Canterburry street in East London, a passionate band of radical lovers of Jesus ignited a flame of worship 30 days ago that has not stopped burning day or night.

They streamed in from all over Europe and the nations of the world. From Osaka, Japan to Sydney, Australia to Nashville, Tennessee to Sao Paulo Brazil to Port Elizabeth, South Africa, a “band of prophets” came down the hill to converge with the world in London and release a sound. They came prophesying on their instruments calling forth a day of salvation, healing, deliverance and the glory of God to this destiny-charged city and nation of the United Kingdom (Samuel 10:5). From the most heavily Islamic neighbourhood in Europe during the holy Muslim month of Ramadan, the incense of worship did not stop rising day or night.

Weak a times they often appeared in their labours, but strong in the sight of the Lord they were (2 Cor 2:10). Utter foolishness to the world the seemed, but wise and pure in the eyes of God (1 Cor 1:27). This is a historic night that with a sound that I believe will forever echo in the halls of heaven.

Beyond the powerful shift in the atmosphere over the city, alignment of the kingdom of heaven on earth through worship, prayer, evangelism on the streets (with many salvations and healings), I believe the sustaining value out of this month long extravagance of worship is overwhelming priority of sitting at His feet. It was worth it all simply for this.

“…but only one thing is needed. Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her.” - Luke 10:24

Tonight we celebrate 30 days and nights of sitting at His feet!
