Sound from the Underground

We’ve been caught up in a crazy whirlwind for the past 48 hours!

In typical Burn 24/7 fashion, we landed late Saturday night and immediately kicked off three intense, free, explosive and LONG services the next day in the city of Johannesburg. I guess I was not expecting to witness the hunger, desperation and passion that was rising from these burning hearts!  It was a pleasant and wonderful surprise and it was amazing how four hours would fly in these meetings with the thick Presence of God releasing supernatural healings, winds of refreshing and dynamic breakthrough!

THIS LAND IS SO INCREDIBLY RIPE!! The moment my plane touched down on the tarmac, I could feel the ground crying out and Romans 8:19 hit my spirit!!

“All creation waits in eager expectation for the sons of God to be revealed.”

There were moments from the endless hours of worship, prayer, glory and warfare we experienced yesterday where I could hear a fresh sound coming out of the months of this tribe!  It is a sound I have never heard before but gripped me with its rawness, tenacity and resolve to see the kingdom manifest in its FULLNESS on this nation! The only way I can describe it is a “sound from the underground” and I could not stop singing and prophesying that over the nation!

We continue our whirlwind journey today with a flight to Port Elizabeth for a strategic gathering this afternoon in a massive soccer stadium (built to host the World Cup this year) to pray, contend and press in for revival with pastors, leaders and masses of worshippers from across the nation. We’ll then have another epic gathering tonight with the hungry to go for it!

Tomorrow we fly to Durban for three days in a row of gatherings at different churches and then onto Cape Town for the grand finale to end the weekend!
