Missoula Burn – January

Hey everyone, so Burn January will be Friday and Saturday (January 15 -16) from 6 pm – 6 pm (immediately followed by the city wide healing meeting) at the City Life Center in Missoula.  We are gonna blaze and contend for unity in our city and region!  I’m so pumped to see what God is gonna do in 2010 and I can’t wait to get to it!

On a sadder note, for those of you who haven’t heard, a very close friend of our passed away early Monday morning (January 11th) of a cancer that she’s been bravely battling for over 2 years.  Jill is the wife of James Peddie, who heads up the college ministry that my wife Amanda and I are on staff and lead worship for.  James has been our biggest support getting the Burn rolling in Missoula, and I have know both James and Jill most of my life.  It’s a very tough season for us (especially in the wake of Amanda’s mom dying back in July of cancer) and I have found that through this tough time, we are being pushed to make tough decisions.  We have resolved not to back down, but to blaze forward and continue contending for breakthrough for the miraculous healing of cancer!  Please stand with us during this season… I really feel like we are at the cusp of breakthrough, and I covet your prayers and support!
