Hey Folks – The Burn: Long Island is part of the larger identity and mission of IHOP-LI.
 
It’s our favorite fast and feast of the month.
 
It is our intentional gathering as One Body to fast our time and engage in a feast of affection in worship as we focus our hearts fully on the Lord and declare His Merciful Justice and Beauty to Him and over Long Island/NYC. It is also our discipline of returning our focus to Jesus as our first love; realigning our hearts to the first commandment (really, the first pleasure).

It is meant to create a place of refreshing where the entire Body of Christ, with all of its beautiful diversity of expressions, can come together to minister to the Lord with one heart; where worshipers, artists, intercessors, and minstrels can minister to the Lord with confidence in the love of God and as the priesthood of all believers.

It is minimally formatted to create breathing room for us to grow in sensitivity to the movements of God’s heart, love on Him and prefer one another. It is a place of rest.
