Antioch Prayer Initiative

The Mandate:

On October 9th, 2009 Fire and Fragrance(A ministry of YWAM Kona) and Burn 24-7 are calling the body of Christ all over the world to cover the continents of the earth with a 24 hour chorus of worship and intercession. This stems for a series of words from the Lord that we were to gather in at least one specific Antioch type city in each continent to pray, worship, and contend for 24 hours that the destiny of the nations in that continent would be further unlocked, that a movement of prayer and worship would continue to be released and that global revival would continue to surge forward with increasing intensity.  As we further prayed into this the Lord spoke about the date being the 8th and final day of the feast of tabernacles.

The Significance of the Timing:

The Significance of the Feast of Tabernacles is huge, but there are several key points that we are focusing on. The Feast of Tabernacles is one of the fall feasts that was first given to the people of Israel so that they would remember the faithfulness of the Lord in leading them through the desert from Egypt to the promised land as well as a promise looking forward to the day when God would once again tabernacle with man as in the beginning. This was partially fulfilled through the coming of Jesus and Pentecost, will continue to be fulfilled through the salvation of the lost and bringing of the Kingdom through the saints and will be complete when the Father once again makes the earth his indwelling footstool through the second coming of His son Jesus. We live in the day of the increase of His presence on the earth and part of the significance of setting this day aside for prayer and worship is for the continued agreement with heaven that it would continue to invade earth through revival and reformation!

Other significant points of the feast are that it was the time the harvest was celebrated and the feast during which Jesus said, ”I am the light of the World”.  We want this to be a time set aside to celebrate the coming of the largest global harvest in history and also the contending for the fullness of that to be released in our generation!

On each of the eight days of the feast of tabernacles an offering of fire was made and on the first and last day a Holy Convocation was declared. This October 9th and 10th we want to make a global offering of fire and declare a Holy Convocation or gathering to pray for the release of the purposes of God across the continents of the earth! There is a sound the Lord is releasing and we want to agree with and continue to release that sound!

The Details:

We will gather in cities all over the earth. The 24 hours will be set according to the beginning of the 8th day of the feast of tabernacles in Jerusalem. So each time zone across the earth will start at 6PM Jerusalem time on the 9th of October and end at 6PM Jerusalem time on the 10th.

The key scriptures we will be focusing on will be:

Psalm 132-The cry of David’s heart to find a dwelling place for the Lord

Acts 15:16-The restoration of David’s fallen tabernacle, which we believe to be global revival, the ushering of the nations into the presence and family of God

Leviticus 23:33-36-An offering of fire and a Holy convocation on the 8th day.

Habakuk 2:14- That the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord would cover the earth as the waters cover the seas.

John 8:12- Revelation as Jesus as the light of the world!

Acts 13- Antiochs to be raised up all over the world as communities, centered around the presence of the Lord leading to revival and reformation.

Key Breakthroughs we are asking for:

Global revival fire

Releasing of Antioch type cities, marrying missions and prayer

Harvesters released into the harvest field

A revival among Jews on this 8th and final day of Tabernacles and continued blessing on the believers in the land of Israel as the original covenant people
