The first night we were in Turkey, having a pre-Burn meeting with M’s in the country, the Lord spoke to me very clearly concerning this nation.

The Lord said that Turkey was like an expectant mother whose water was about to break.  The purposes of God for His Kingdom in Turkey were about to be birthed and there would not be a stillbirth.  There would be a breaking forth of salvation and God’s Kingdom in this nation.  The prayer movement forming in Turkey and its leaders would act as spiritual midwives to know when to push and when to rest.  God clearly spoke that this child would not be stillborn. This birthing is very close.

While in Turkey, God gave me a heart for this people and also opened the opportunity for me to be a part of helping one of the M’s to set up Life Houses for those with intellectual disabilities.  There are no services for this population in Turkey, and this could raise the quality of life for the intellecutally disabled in the whole nation.

I truly believe that the simple act of obedience of worship and intercession can change a nation.  Anyone contemplating going on a Burn Trip, should just do it. GO!
